Peter Frampton, Cheap Trick and Gregg Allman hooked up to cover Lynyrd Skynyrd during Skynyrd’s star concert recording One More for the Fans. The boys all teamed up for a rendition of JJ Cale’s “Call Me the Breeze.” The performance went down on November 12, 2014 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta and is out this week for purchase. “We’ve known each other on a very close level,” said Frampton of the gig. “We’ve known each other through thick and thin, literally. We’ve played many, many concerts together . . . It’s just always been a pleasure to do anything with them, and I enjoyed the whole experience of doing that (tribute) show. It was much more of a family experience for me, that whole day.” One More for the Fans is due on CD/DVD July 24. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
