U2 made their recent stop in New York City a truly memorable one as the band performed the track “October” for the first time in nearly three decades. During their eight-night Innocence + Experience tour stop at Madison Square Garden, the band treated fans to a rare rendition of the title-track from their second studio album. The last time the band performed the 1981 track live was 26 years ago in 1989 on their Lovetown Tour of Australia. U2’s current Innocence + Experience tour has unearthed a slew of rarities, including some never-before heard live. “In God’s Country,” which appears on the band’s fifth studio album, 1987’s The Joshua Tree, was played for the first time in 14 years live in Phoenix. They also performed “Gloria,” also appearing on October, for its first time in nearly 10 years. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
