Roger Waters has released a newly remastered video of his track “What God Wants, Part 1,” which appears on his 1992 solo album, Amused to Death. The clip features Waters and guitarist Jeff Beck, who appears on a handful of Amused to Death tracks, performing the track live in a studio setting. Waters’ remastered reissue of Amused to Death hits stores July 24. The reissue will feature a new 5.1 surround remix of the record on high-definition Blu-ray audio and a new remastered stereo mix completed by longtime Roger Waters/Pink Floyd collaborator and co-producer James Guthrie. The original album cover has also been updated by Sean Evans. In a statement, Waters said of Amused to Death, “I’m remembering the record from [over] 20 years ago, that most of what I had to say then sadly still pertains today and is maybe even more relevant to our predicament as people in 2015 even than it was in 1992.” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
