Sammy Hagar says that he wants to add a reality television series revolving around his family to his growing media empire. Hagar recently told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that while he wants to pursue the show in the future, he hasn’t exactly gotten the response he was looking for thus far. “The response I got was that there’s no drama,” he laughed regarding the “sizzle reel” he put together for prospective network buyers. “How about that? We’re too happy. It’s disappointing in terms of doing the show, but it was also the biggest compliment I’ve ever had.” Speaking of Hagar’s expanding empire, his Sammy Hagar’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Road Trip series is tentatively set to premiere on AXS TV this fall and his latest book, Are We Having Any Fun Yet?: The Cooking & Partying Handbook, will be released in September.
