Ringo Starr is asking his former bandmate, Paul McCartney, along with the family members of the late John Lennon and George Harrison, to collect old, unseen photos of the Beatles. “If they’re listening . . . dig out the negatives,” he asked while at the National Portrait Gallery in London. “The other boys had cameras too,” he added, “so the next plan is I want to get the rest of my pictures, Paul’s pictures, Yoko will have John’s pictures, Olivia [Harrison] George’s . . . it would make a great book. I’ll be in a lot more photos.” Currently the National Portrait Gallery is displaying 20 of Ringo’s snaps of his bandmates. “These are shots that no one else could have taken,” he said. “Together, they chart the story of four lads from Liverpool trying to live normal lives amidst the frenzy that surrounded them.” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
