The Who have canceled four shows because Roger Daltrey is suffering from an unspecified illness. All the dates from September 14 and September 21 have been cleared while Daltrey, 71, recovers. In an interview earlier in the tour, Daltrey said that life on the road has been getting harder with age. “We cannot keep going on doing these month after month-long, extended tours,” he said. “It’s extremely hard, hard work.” The full list of axed dates are San Diego on September 14, Anaheim, California (September 16), Las Vegas (September 19) and Los Angeles (September 21).
