Bruce Springsteen has been confirmed to perform at the 2015 Stand Up For Heroes benefit, which will take place at Madison Square Garden on November 10, according to Rolling Stone. TV personalities Jon Stewart, John Oliver and Seth Meyers, along with trumpeter Chris Botti have also been announced as part of the lineup. Additional guests are scheduled to appear, although they have not all been revealed yet. This will be the ninth year of the Stand Up For Heroes benefit, which is devoted to creating “long-lasting, positive outcomes for our nation’s injured veterans, service members and their families, by finding, funding and shaping initiatives that enrich the lives of these heroes,” by way of raising money for the Bob Woodruff Foundation. At last year’s benefit Springsteen successfully raised $600,000 by auctioning off a prize package, which included a guitar lesson, ride on his motorcycle, the shirt he was wearing and dinner at his home.
