Roger Waters was joined by Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins at a concert at Washington D.C.’s Constitution Hall over the weekend. The show was a benefit for Music Heals, a benefit for MusiCorps, an organization that teaches wounded servicemen and women how to play music as part of their rehabilitation. Morello joined Waters on “Shine on You Crazy Diamond,” and “The Ghost of Tom Joad,” while Corgan and Morello joined Waters for “Wish You Were Here,” “Brain Damage/Eclipse,” “Comfortably Numb” and “Forever Young.” According to Consequence of Sound, Waters was also joined by members of the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band and Tim Conley, a Marine who lost both of his legs in Afghanistan and who is now a musician.
