Don Henley covered a song from Garth Brooks’ Garth Brooks in . . . The Life of Chris Gaines album at his recent Nashville show at the Ryman Auditorium on October 18. The former Eagles member performed his own rendition of Brooks’ “It Don’t Matter to the Sun.” Earlier in the tour Henley debuted a few other covers such as Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” Randy Newman’s “Let’s Burn Down the Cornfield” and the Screamin’ Jay Hawkins classic “I Put a Spell on You.” Henley will remain on tour promoting his new solo album Cass County until mid-November.
