Billy Joel’s latest concert at Madison Square Garden featured appearances from Steve Miller and John Mayer. Miller and Joel teamed up for Miller’s hit “The Joker,” while Mayer sat in on “This Is the Time” and “You May Be Right.” To celebrate the New York Mets clinching the National League championship, Joel tossed in “Meet the Mets” and “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” to the mix. Joel’s ongoing residency at MSG picks up on November 19. His December 17 show is the last scheduled at MSG for 2015. In 2014, Billy was established as the first-ever music franchise at Madison Square Garden – joining the Knicks, Rangers and Liberty as a resident at MSG.
