Rod Stewart performed “Please” with the Roots on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The cut is featured on Stewart’s latest record, Another Country, and is “a sultry, pleading blues burner, criss-crossed with conversing guitars,” according to Rolling Stone. Last week, Rod released the music video for “Way Back Home,” another single from Another Country. The black and white throwback vid, says Rod, was inspired by childhood memories. “Having been born near the end of the Second World War, I have vivid recollections of the stories I heard from my mum and dad and my older siblings, who lived in London while the bombs were falling and knew the hardships of the ’40s – hardships which continued for some while even after it was all over,” Stewart said. Another Country, Stewart’s 29th studio album, follows his 2013 record Time. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
