The Who have announced a one-off show at the SSE Arena in London on February 13, 2016. Roger Daltrey, who recently had to cancel a string of Who tour dates owing to illness, says the band is ready to rock. “Who’d have thought that 50 years on from first playing at Wembley Arena with the Beatles and many of the top groups of that time, The Who would once again play at this legendary venue,” he said. “It’s great to be feeling much better after my illness. I’ll be fighting fit by then and I can’t wait to get back to work.” Tickets for the Who’s upcoming SSE Arena show go on sale on November 20. Who guitarist Pete Townshend previously told Mojo that 2015 would mark the end of the band’s touring days. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
