Van Morrison has released an early demo version of “Gloria” a track from his upcoming comp The Complete Them 1964-1967. The set is a collection of material Van M recorded with his one time backing band, Them. The “raw, previously unreleased rendition,” writes Rolling Stone, “runs at a slightly slower tempo than the single version . . .” and “. . . sports a different, almost cleaner-sounding mix than the more familiar take.” The 3-CD set features Van’s The Angry Young Them (1965) and Them Again (1966), along with singles demos, live sessions, alternate takes and rarities recorded during the time period. A 16-page booklet included in the set features notes written by Morrison himself. The Complete Them 1964-1967 lands December 4. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
