David Bowie has shared a teaser of new short film “Blackstar,” the title track from his forthcoming new album, set to be released on January 8, 2016 via Columbia Records. Bowie has also shared a two-minute teaser of the new cut in addition for its accompanying short film. Directed by Johan Renck, “Blackstar” will premiere Thursday, November 19 at 3:50 p.m. on Palladia. “Blackstar” will also air next Thursday at Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, NY. In the new teaser, viewers see a young woman walking the ruins of an old city, a bejeweled skull, men convulsing/dancing to the beat of a drummer, people crucified on scarecrow posts and, finally, Bowie himself, holding a black star-adorned book and staring into the sky. Blackstar is Bowie’s first studio release since 2013’s The Next Day. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
