David Bowie has premiered a second song, “Lazarus,” off of his forthcoming album Blackstar. The new track follows the release of the album’s title track. According to The Guardian, “Lazarus” is the only song from the stage musical of the same name to appear on the album. The track’s official video will be released on January 7, one day before the album will be released. “The feeling in the studio was like, ‘This is rock & roll,'” keyboardist Jason Lindner told Rolling Stone of recording the new album. “That’s what I came away with. It has that energy, that rebellion and that intensity. It’s all rocking. That’s what I came away with.” The LP, Bowie’s 25th studio record, follows his 2013 comeback album, The Next Day. Producer Tony Visconti has said that album “started out trying to do something new, but something old kept creeping in. Not this [one].” Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
