A Scottish Highlands manor that once belonged to Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has been destroyed by flames. Boleskine House, located on the banks of Loch Ness in Inverness-shire, was over half gone by the time fire crews even got to it. According to the Mirror, there was no one inside at the time the blaze broke out. Before Page, the home belonged to Aleister Crowley, a mystic and author. Called “the Great Beast” and “wickedest man in the world,” Crowley died in 1947 at the age of 73. Page bought the home in 1971 before selling it in 1992. He used it as a songwriting based but never spent much time there. The fantasy sequence filmed for Zep’s 1976 concert film The Song Remains the Same was shot there. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com.
