Neil Young’s 1982 comedy film Human Highway will get a nationwide theatrical release one night only on February 29. The film will be paired with his 1979 concert movie Rust Never Sleeps and an interview with Highway cast members Charlotte Stewart, Russ Tamblyn and Devo’s Gerald Casale conducted by Cameron Crowe. Young’s 1982 musical comedy, which he wrote, directed and starred in, also featured Dennis Hopper. Rust, recorded October 22, 1978, at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, features a set list full of Young’s most popular songs, Rust Never Sleeps showcases classic hits such as “I Am a Child,” featuring Crazy Horse, “Cinnamon Girl,” “Like a Hurricane” and both the acoustic and electric versions of his landmark song “Hey Hey, My My.” Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo, who is also featured in the film, told Rolling Stone that it’s “a truly weird piece of history.” Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com.
