Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen says that the Oasis cut “The Shock of the Lightning” is one he wishes he wrote. “The riff goes on and on, and Liam Gallagher just snarls. We play this song at our shows before we go onstage. It puts me in the mood to rock,” he told Rolling Stone. Nielsen dished on four other cuts he would be proud to have written. The cuts are “Open My Eyes” by the Nazz, “Go All the Way” by the Raspberries, “Glad All Over” by The Dave Clark Five and “Whatcha Gonna Do About It” by the Small Faces. Last month, Cheap Trick made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their first year on the ballot. They’ll be inducted later this year. The 31st annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on April 8 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
