David Bowie was reportedly cremated in New York with no friends or family present. According to The Daily Mirror, Bowie wanted to “go without any fuss.” “There is no public or private service or a public memorial. There is nothing,” a source told the paper. The Guardian reported that the cremation took place shortly after his death. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Tony Visconti, who produced Bowie’s last record, Blackstar, adds that Bowie was, while in the midst of his battle with terminal cancer, continuing work on the follow-up to Blackstar. “At that late stage, he was planning the follow-up to Blackstar. And I was thrilled. I thought, and he thought, that he’d have a few months, at least.” Bowie died on Sunday, December 10 at the age of 69. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
