Alice Cooper is working on a follow-up to the debut album by the Hollywood Vampires as well as a new solo record. Alice Cooper is working on a follow-up to the debut album by the Hollywood Vampires as well as a new solo record. Speaking with Rock N Roll World, Coop says he’s got a lot on his plate at the moment. “I’m working on two albums at once right now,” he began. “And I’m gonna be on two tours this summer. I got my own tour, and then I got the Vampires tour. So, I don’t get a rest.” He added that his solo album will feature contribs from the surviving members of his Alice Cooper band – guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neal Smith. “Neal and Mike and I just wrote two or three songs. Dennis and I wrote some songs together [too]. When we broke up [in 1974], we broke up as friends. We never broke up as enemies.” Cooper’s solo tour begins in Biloxi, Mississippi on April 29.
