Don McLean has been charged with five additional charges in connection with his January arrest on domestic violence accusations. McLean has entered not-guilty pleas to all six charges including the domestic violence charge. In a statement released Monday, McLean maintained his innocence, calling the case “a tragedy for our family and especially my wife.” Following the charges, McLean’s wife, Patricia, filed an order of protection, but later decided to drop it. A statement from the pair says that “[n]either party is seeking a divorce,” and that they are trying to “move forward and rebuild their lives.” She previously wrote a statement giving a different picture of the pair’s relationship. “On Jan. 17, Don terrorized me for four hours until the 911 call that I think might have saved my life,” she wrote. She later said she didn’t expect those words to be made public. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
