Following a six-year hiatus from performing, Phil Collins returned to the stage for a benefit concert at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Florida on Friday, March 11. The Genesis star played seven songs – five of his own hits, including “Against All Odds” and “In the Air Tonight,” along with two covers (“My Girl” by the Temptations and “Knockin on Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan). The event is a benefit for the Little Dreams Foundation, which he founded in 2000 with his then-wife, Orianne. Back in December 2014, Collins was scheduled to play a benefit for the foundation, but pulled out at the last minute after realizing at soundcheck that his vocals were not up to his standards. At the time, the Miami Herald said that the vocal problems were the result of “some sort of neurological affliction that he said strikes every now and then.” Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com.
