The Rolling Stones offered up their first ever concert in the country of Cuba earlier this month. The show took place at the Ciudad Deportiva in the capital city of Havana on March 25. Reports say that the crowd was 450,000 strong and that Mick Jagger shared his love of Cuba with the audience. “We know that years ago, it was difficult to listen to our music in Cuba, but now here we are in your beautiful land,” the Guardian reports Jagger saying to the crowd in Spanish. “I think that, finally, the times are changing. That’s true, no?” It was a historic night for rock and roll in Cuba as one concertgoer Tania Livia told the Guardian, “This will be one of those weeks that people will use to measure other events. In the future, they’ll ask, was it before or after the Stones played.” Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
