Gregg Allman is bringing his Laid Back Festival to five U.S. stops this summer. He’s announced that Peter Frampton, ZZ Top, Jason Isbell and Marshall Tucker Band will hit the road with him. The fest begins May 7 in Atlanta and includes dates in Nashville (June 25), Chicago (July 16), Wantaugh, New York (July 23), and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (September 25). Blackberry Smoke, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials, Eddy Clearwater, Roomful Of Blues and Rick Estrin & The Nightcats will also perform. In addition to Laid Back fest, Allman has a solo tour scheduled for this summer, along with a few joint dates with Frampton. His next solo stop comes April 5 in Munhall, Pennsylvania.
