Bob Dylan has released “Melancholy Mood,” the lead single from his upcoming, second Frank Sinatra tribute, Fallen Angels. “Melancholy Mood” was written by Vick R Knight and Walter Schumann and was recorded by Sinatra as the B-side to his first single “From The Bottom Of My Heart.” According to Diffuser.fm, Dylan picks up where he left off on his first Sinatra tribute, Shadows in the Night. “Like Shadows in the Night, Dylan largely avoids taking any liberties with the source material and instead delivers a stripped-down, earnest tribute.” Rolling Stone adds that “Dylan delivers a hushed vocal performance that piques at the right moments.” Fallen Angels is due May 20 via Columbia. Dylan’s support tour begins with two shows in Woodinville, Washington on June 4 and 5. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
