Iggy Pop performed “Sunday,” a cut from his latest album Post Pop Depression, with Queen of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme and the Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders, during an appearance on the radio station KCRW. Helders and Homme are part of Pop’s studio and touring band for his latest album. Queens’ Dean Fertita rounds out the mix. The guys are on the road behind the album now, performing only in “small, beautiful theatres where their presence might still seem disruptive,” according to Homme. Their next show comes at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on April 9. Produced by Homme Post Pop Depression, possibly Pop’s last album, is his highest charting ever. The LP debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200, his best showing since 1977 when his album Idiot landed at number 72. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
