Last year, vinyl sales in the U.K. reached a 21 year high with 2.1 million units sold. In the number two spot was Adele with her smash hit 25. Amy Winehouse (Back to Black), the Stone Roses (The Stone Roses), and the Guardians of the Galaxy OST rounded out the top five. “As we celebrate the first birthday of the Official Vinyl Charts, it is encouraging to see the resurgence of this much-loved format continuing apace in 2016,” said a rep for the Official Charts Company.
