Jimmy Page and Robert Plant may not testify in an ongoing plagiarism suit involving the music of Led Zeppelin. The rock legends have long been accused of stealing musical themes in “Stairway to Heaven” from the lesser known song “Taurus” by the band Spirit. Zep lost an appeal in a U.S. court to prevent the suit from going to trial. This ends years of legal struggling over the song, but now the presiding judge has issued a ruling limiting the amount of expert testimony that can enter the trial. No experts that have previously appeared in Led Zeppelin plagiarism trials will be allowed to appear. Depositions from both Page and Plant will be presented in the trial, though neither rock legend is likely to appear in person. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
