Newly surfaced video footage shows Bruce Springsteen testing out his dance skills on stage during his recently wrapped The River Tour. During a stop in Oakland, California at the Oracle Arena this past March, Springsteen welcomed a female fan on stage during “Dancing In the Dark,” a young girl nicknamed Boo, who promptly broke into the Whip/Nae Nae dance, which Springsteen decided to try and mimic. He then began dabbing, which he seemed to enjoy the most. Video footage of the moment was first released by The New York Daily News. Pulling fans up on stage is a staple of Springsteen’s live shows, especially during “Dancing in the Dark.” The music video for the song, released in 1984, features a young Courteney Cox dancing with the Boss at a show.
