Paul McCartney joined the ever-growing list of artists to pay tribute to the late Prince with a performance of “Let’s Go Crazy” during the Minneapolis stop of his One on One Tour. McCartney and his band worked the cover, which came complete with Prince’s logo beamed against the backdrop on the stage, into their set segueing out of “Hi Hi Hi.” “Saddened by Prince’s death,” McCartney wrote after Prince passed. “Proud to have seen in the New Year with him. He seemed fine and played brilliantly funky music. God bless this creative giant. Thanks Prince. Love X Paul.” Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota. He was found collapsed in a lift at his home, which doubled as a studio. He was pronounced dead, and while an autopsy has been completed, no cause of death has yet been confirmed.
