Eric Clapton has released a new lyric video for his track “Can’t Let You Do It.” The track is pulled from Clapton’s 23rd solo studio release I Still Do, which is set for release on May 20. The album marks the reunion of Clapton with legendary producer Glyn Johns, which Slow Hand calls “long overdue.” Rolling Stone released a behind-the-scenes chat with Clapton and Johns in the studio and the latter described what makes Clapton such a classic guitarist. “I’ve worked with lots of really good guitar players, and the difference with Eric is he absolutely very rarely – in my experience with him, anyway – sits and figures something out to the nth degree,” added Johns. “Most of it is an emotive response to what he’s hearing around him, to what the song suggests, or whatever else. . . . It goes straight from his heart to his fingers.” Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
