Elton John has dropped the hint that he may step away from touring in the upcoming years. Speaking with Graham Norton, the rock legend admitted that as much as he loves to tour, the travel has become more difficult as his children begin to grow older. When asked if his forthcoming tour is a “farewell tour,” he said that it’s not, but he definitely will not tour forever. “Not necessarily. I like playing and I’m a working musician and I love to do it. If you’re feeling fresh and energetic do it while you can. I’m not going to do it forever because I want to see my boys grow up,” he explained. John and his husband, film maker David Furnish, have two sons together, Zachary and Elijah.
