George Harrison’s Twitter account was recently hacked by a man who didn’t realize he was dead. The Twitter account, which is run by the Beatles estate, was hacked on Tuesday, June 7 by @j5zlol, who claimed to want to help secure Harrison’s account. Apparently it was hacked to change some of his bio information. “Hey George, follow @j5zlol when you see this and shoot me a DM. I’ll help you secure your accounts 🙂 I don’t want to cause you any harm, bud.” Later he realized the former Beatle was no longer living. “It’s famous musicians and artists at risk,” j5Z told The Daily Beast. “If you’re a celebrity, you should change your password immediately. Literally everyone should just create a new email, think of a new password, and do it for every account.” Other famous musicians recently hacked include Keith Richards, Tame Impala, Tenacious D, Katy Perry and Bon Iver.
