AC/DC Cliff Williams will retire after the band’s current Rock Or Bust tour. “It’s been what I’ve known for the past 40 years, but after this tour I’m backing off of touring and recording,” Williams tells Gulfshore Life. “Losing Malcolm [Young], the thing with Phil [Rudd] and now with Brian [Johnson], it’s a changed animal. I feel in my gut it’s the right thing.” Young retired after a dementia diagnosis before AC/DC completed their current album, Rudd was replaced by ex-AC/DC drummer Chris Slade after a series of legal issues and Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose recently took over for Johnson after he faced catastrophic hearing loss before the band’s current world tour. Williams’ departure from the band leaves guitarist Angus Young as the most tenured member of AC/DC. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
