Mudcrutch, Tom Petty’s side project, has released their “I Forgive It All” video featuring actor Anthony Hopkins, according to Rolling Stone. The video, which was directed by Sean Penn and Samuel Bayer, delves into the intense subjects of poverty, wealth, aging and absolution. In the beginning of the video archival shots of the Great Depression are shown. Audio of children searching for food is also played in the background. Next Hopkins is seen driving a fancy car around Los Angeles to show sharp contrast between the previous scene. He then drives to a rundown part of town and exits the car, leaving his car keys in it. Lastly he enters a sketchy hotel room and appears to ask for forgiveness. “I Forgive It All” appears on Mudcrutch’s new album, 2, which was released in May. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com.
