The new exhibit is called Charlie Daniels: Million Mile Reflections and is set to open at the Nashville museum on September 23. “I can’t even articulate how honored I am by this exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” Daniels says in a press release. “I couldn’t think of a better name myself, unless it would be Five Million Mile Reflections.” “He forged a bracing new musical style out of bluegrass, blues, country, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll,” explains Kyle Young, the museum’s CEO, and “[h]is sound quickly became popular on country, pop and rock radio stations. His musical journey has led him to the Country Music Hall of Fame, where he will be inducted in October.
