Pat Benatar’s life with longtime husband and partner Neil Giraldo will soon be the focus of a new musical. The show is reportedly set to be written by Emmy-nominated Gary Lennon (Orange Is the New Black, The Shield) and produced by Jamie Cesa (Pippin). The pair have been married for 35 years and first met when Giraldo was hired as Benatar’s touring guitarist. The pair are, in fact, still touring together and kicked off their summer tour in New York City last month. Summer tour dates: 8/11 – West Allis, Wisc. 8/14 – Shawnee, Okla. 8/15 – Albuquerque, N.M. 8/19 – Temecula, Calif. 8/21 – Los Angeles, Calif. 8/23 – San Diego, Calif. 8/24 – Saratoga, Calif. 8/27 – Airway Heights, Wash.
