Paul McCartney has inked a new deal with Capitol Records. The new deal marks a return to the label for Macca, who spent most of his career with the Beatles at the legendary label. He broke news of the new deal in an official press release. “This is genuinely exciting for me,” McCartney says in a press release. “Not only was Capitol my first U.S. record label, but the first record I ever bought was Gene Vincent’s ‘Be-Bop-A-Lula’ on the Capitol label.” Along with the news the label also confirmed that the legend is in the early stages of writing a new album. McCartney also recently opened up about the end of the Beatles and admits that they were, in fact, threatened by Yoko Ono’s presence. Speaking with Rolling Stone, the former Mop Top says that while they could’ve handled things better, most bands would’ve crumbled immediately. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
