An alternate version of David Bowie’s hit song “TVC15,” which originally appeared on his album, Station to Station has been released. The song will be featured on the new upcoming box set, Who Can I Be Now? The box set is centered on Bowie’s mid-1970s recordings. The song features, E Street band member, Roy Bittan playing a prominent piano riff. The guitar playing from Earl Slick and Carlos Alomar are more crisp sounding than on the original version. Bowie’s own voice and saxophone are much more pronounced in the new mix. Bowie famously performed “TVC15” on Saturday Night Live. The song was a mainstay in his set lists throughout the late 1970s.
