A new “unboxing” video for the much anticipated Pink Floyd box set The Early Years 1965-1972 has been released. The video is a computer animated simulation of the components that comprise the box set. The Early Years consists of material from the band’s inception up to 1972. This includes all of the Syd Barret era and the formative years after his departure. In all, the package will contain 12 hours of audio and 14 hours of video. Furthermore, there will be a wealth of reading material, photographs, as well as never before released material both in audio and video format. The box set is scheduled for release November 11.
