The Queen BBC radio sessions are being compiled as Queen On Air: The Complete BBC Sessions into a deluxe package. The audio set will appear as a double disc CD set, triple disc vinyl, as well as digital formats. The set will include live broadcasts and studio interviews spanning from the years 1973-77. The press release describes it as a “glorious snapshot of the growth of a legend.” In all the package will contain 24 tracks. The press release cited the tracks are “alternate versions of the debut single, unique takes of classic album tracks, and even a radically reworked re-imagining of one of their best-known anthems that has never previously appeared on any Queen studio release.” The album compilation has yet to have a specific release date, but it is expected to be out later this year.
