The small town of Carinda in New South Wales will be holding a David Bowie tribute festival next week. The little Australian town is where Bowie’s video for “Let’s Dance” was shot. The festival organizer, ‘Mo’ Reagan told Australia’s Radio National “What I saw was the place needed a bit of fun – let’s dance – let’s have a bit of fun.” Reagan went onto say, that in the downtown where the festival will be held, is the famous tiled wall Bowie stood in front of in the video. Reagan said, “We call it the David Bowie wall.” The festival is called “Let’s Dance Carinda” and will take place October 8-9.
