For several years now Timothy Schmit has been working on his new solo project. The long awaited solo effort album, Leap of Faith, was finally released on September 23. The Eagles guitarist has had to rely on down time from the band’s busy touring schedule to work on his own solo project. Schmit told Rolling Stone that when his bandmate Glenn Frey died in January, that the incident really kick started his solo album. Schmit was in need of a new musical outlet at the time to help him deal with his emotions. Schmit posted statements about his new album on his own website. Schmit said, “Over the last 10 years or so, I’ve felt like I’m finally getting the hang what it is I do best. Although this project took some time to complete, this is what I came up with . . . This is who I am. This is a Leap of Faith.” Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
