A new episode of Austin City Limits featuring Robert Plant is set to air on PBS this weekend on October 15. According to the page for the episode on Austin City Limits’ website, Plant, backed by the Sensational Space Shifters, played three songs from his 2014 album Lullaby and . . . The Ceaseless Roar: “Rainbow,” “Turn It Up” and “Little Maggie.” Over the course of the eight songs taped for the episode, they also played “In the Mood,” which comes from 1983’s The Principle of Moments, and Led Zeppelin staples “Whole Lotta Love,” “The Lemon Song,” “Black Dog” and “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You.” “There are no walls in this musical world . . . everybody had a side trip here and there, me mostly here,” he said from the stage, calling the record a “reflection of all the things we traverse and move through. . . . When I came to live here, I saw a different picture, a bunch of colors.” Plant will take part in the 42nd season of Austin City Limits. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
