Fans of Bob Dylan can now listen to highlights from the upcoming 36-disc collection The 1966 Live Recordings streaming now courtesy of NPR’s First Listen Program, which has made 15 songs available. The collection is available for pre-order and will be released on November 11. Tapes of the live recordings were discovered by Columbia when they were in the process of assembling The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Volume 12. Adam Block, the President of Columbia’s archival Legacy imprint, said, “the intensity of Bob’s live performances and his fantastic delivery of these songs in concert add another insightful component in understanding and appreciating the musical revolution Bob Dylan ignited some 50 years ago.” Dylan will be opening his art exhibit The Beaten Path on November 5. Recently, Dylan also penned an essay for Vanity Fair that can be read in its entirety on their website. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
