A collection of forty one previously unpublished poems by Johnny Cash was released on November 15. The poems that make up Forever Words: The Unknown Poems were composed over the course of his life. The earliest work goes back to 1944, when he was only 12 years old. The poems were discovered shortly after The Man In Black’s death in 2003. The book was edited by Paul Muldoon, who also provides the book’s introduction. It also features a foreword by Cash’s son, John Carter Cash. The collection also contains facsimile reproductions of Cash’s handwritten pages. John Carter Cash told the New York Times, “I want people to have a deeper understanding of my father than just the iconic, cool man in black. I think this book will help provide that.” Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
