Phil Collins recently discussed a wide range of topics in an interview with Rolling Stone. The former Genesis drummer recently came out of retirement and is set to go back out on the road on his Not Dead Yet Tour of Europe in June 2017. Collins revealed that he was reminded of how close he was to the other members of Genesis while writing his memoir. In response to a question regarding whether the band would get together to perform in the future, Collins stated, “anything can happen, really.” Collins also addressed his past drinking and his recent sobriety in the interview. He revealed, “I didn’t know I was close to dying. If I had carried on drinking, my organs would have started shutting down.” He also spoke about how his drinking had impacted his family. Collins stated, “by the time I stopped, my family disintegrated. Within six months, they’d moved away.” Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
