Elton John will reportedly retire next year in order to spend more time with his family. John is looking to retire in 2017 after he wraps up his current musical commitments, according to reports. The singer will also turn 70 next year. John originally announced plans to retire in 2018, but has pushed the date up to focus on his two sons Zachary and Elijah and his partner David Furnish. A friend told The Daily Mail: “Elton has seen and done it all, and has nothing to prove.” It is also believed the singer wants to devote more time to the Elton John Aids Foundation. He has said that his foundation had implemented a project at King’s College Hospital in London that allows people to be tested for HIV while receiving routine blood tests. John has sold over 260 million records worldwide and won five Grammy awards throughout his career. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
