Electric Light Orchestra drummer Bev Bevan calls the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ‘a once in a lifetime opportunity.’ “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I’d like to be there,” Bevan told Rolling Stone. “I was chuffed, just thrilled. I guess everybody is when they get it. I can’t imagine anyone not being. I thought it was fantastic. I had a lot of friends calling me, texting me, emailing me to say congratulations. It’s been really good.” Bevan also said that he’d like to see the original lineup of the band – Jeff Lynne, Richard Tandy and Roy Wood – reunite onstage for a performance at the induction ceremony, if only for one song. Bevan was a member of ELO through 1986’s Balance of Power and until the band itself was dissolved. Bevan then began touring with new musicians as ELO Part II. Copyright(c) 2016 RTTNews.com.
