Joe Walsh says that he would be open to a James Gang reunion in honor of the bands 50th anniversary. “I would have to go back to Cleveland and try it out,” he tells the Las Vegas Weekly. “I’m not sure we can do what we used to do. I do talk to Jimmy [Fox] and Dale [Peters] from time to time.I want to make sure the majority of the nights are good with those guys. If we can do it, I don’t see why not.” “That might be a good reason to go out. We could call it Funk 50,” he said, riffing on the bands rock-radio favorite “Funk #49.” The James Gang released a pair of gold-selling hits with 1970’s James Gang Rides Again and 1971’s Thirds.
